ASRC HOME OF HOPE

For many years I have been a volunteer at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC)  and have seen first hand the wonderful work they do at the coalface. When the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre moved to its new ASRC Home of Hope in Footscray, I was privileged to be able to give my time and provide professional services to assist with their interiors. CEO Kon's vision was to create a place where people seeking asylum felt welcome, safe and supported, and the amazing team of staff and volunteers there do just that. The project brief was to create a home that reflected these values with heart and colour, along with furniture and furnishings generously donated by the ASRC's corporate partners and the community.
