PARKDALE RESIDENCE

This beautiful bathroom belongs to a couple with two young children who got in touch because their original bathroom was just not meeting their needs for style or function. The existing space was small, impractical and tired, and when asked how they wanted the space to feel, it was simple - “Make it Happy”. So we did! It needed to work equally for the adults and the kids, and be a space where they all felt at home. It’s also a little nod to the now gone eighties reno (that was not nearly as cool as this) in this gorgeous mid century home.

And who says sophisticated can’t also be joyful? At it’s core this bathroom is elegantly simple, with white subway tile and grey terrazzo. But it’s the details and surprising colour palette that gives it personality. Our intention was to create the perfect balance of function, practicality and joy.
