One Bedroom, Two Ways

I had the pleasure of styling this beautiful loft-style bedroom in Elsternwick to showcase how a single space can tell two very different stories—both equally luxurious, both deeply personal.

For the first look, I created a relaxed yet elevated retreat using lush, locally designed natural textiles, soft layered textures, and a dreamy neon light to evoke calm and comfort. It’s casual, effortless, and designed for truly switching off.

In the second styling, I embraced a more dramatic mood—think jewel-toned velvets, rich textures like black Icelandic sheepskin, and a vibrant floral neon for a playful yet decadent twist. It’s bold, glamorous, and unapologetically fun.

Both looks are grounded by the Purls of Wisdom rug from my NEW AGAIN collection for Designer Rugs—a piece close to my heart that brings warmth, colour, and personality to the space.
