ASRC FOOD JUSTICE TRUCK
As part of my ongoing support of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC), when the ASRC approached me to assist with the fit out of their new Food Justice Truck (FJT) I of course said yes.
The FJT is a wonderful, award winning initiative supporting people seeking asylum by helping them tackle food insecurity and allowing them the dignity of choice to buy fresh produce from local producers at a greatly discounted price.
The FJT was funded by a crowd funding campaign and generous donations of financial support and time from a number of businesses and individuals. It was a privilege to donate my time, knowledge and experience to create the fresh market feel you see, as well as style the truck for their events and photo shoots.
The FJT was the winner of the 2015 Victorian Premier's Design Awards.
